We aim to inspire more Indigenous students to pursue higher education and STEM professions, while also empowering current educators to braid Indigenous knowledges and Western climate sciences. We are building meaningful associations among Indigenous students’ lived experiences, new knowledge, and climate resilience, encouraging them to make connections between global change and local climate impacts, and empowering them to pursue careers addressing climate to benefit their communities.
